"Play for Life" was originally launched as "Play UK" the UK’s first journal aimed at providing comprehensive information that is of practical help to play therapists and everyone working therapeutically, using play, with children or have an interest in the subject. Its purpose is to be a lively practitioner journal with a wide mixture of material.
It became an international journal in 2004 to serve the needs of play therapy practitioners worldwide. Contents include editorial statements, original play therapy and filial play articles, synopses, case histories, reviews of research papers, books etc, news items, details of conferences, workshops, courses and guidelines for career development.
